Medium-early sowing buckwheat variety, resistant to diseases, spring frosts and droughts during flowering
The average length of the vegetation period is 87 days (counting from seed germination to full maturity), that is, the variety is 0.5 days earlier than the standard variety 'VB VOKIAI' buckwheat. The average height of the plants is 122 cm, resistance to lodging is rated 7.5 points (resistance to lodging is rated from 1 to 9, where 9 points is a very resistant to lodging variety). The average yield in the research year was 3.69 t ha -1, which is 0.61 t ha -1 higher than the standard variety 'VB VOKIAI', but the grains are smaller, 11.9% protein, 57.2% starch, and shellability - 22.4 (18-24) %. Weight of 1000 seeds - 27.5 g. *Data for the description of the variety taken from Sow Buckwheat varieties entered in the National List of Plant Varieties, 2016. Describes.
According to studies in Poland, this variety is early/medium early, resistant to spring frosts and droughts during flowering, and resistant to diseases. The partial resistance to grain shedding is higher than the 'KORA' variety. Plants - 100-115 cm high, abundant rich green foliage. Vegetation of plants - 90-105 days. Seed yield - 1.5-2.3 t/ha, weight of 1000 seeds - 25-32 g. Flaking - 17-22%. 'PANDA' is better suited to heavier soils.
Under different growing conditions than those found in these studies, cultivar parameters may differ from those given here
