MIXTURES OF FODDER GRASSES AND LEGUMES

Medium-early mixture for mowing

Recommended for wetter peat soils. The mixture is suitable for long-term mowed meadows with medium intensity of use. Combined use of this type of grass is also possible. It contains 20% legumes that improve the nutritional value of grass feed. This grass mixture is intended for seeding in waterlogged peaty soils. The grass species present in it are able to form a dense grassland with strong turf and produce abundant crops even under unfavorable conditions. It is necessary to mow it at least 2-3 times per season because when mowing less often, the grass becomes woody, and the fodder becomes of low fodder value.

Alsike clover: 20 %

Timothy: 30 %

Red fescue: 20 %

Kentucky bluegrass: 10 %

Tall fescue: 20 %
