Long-lived, winters well

A fertile mixture, resistant to long-lasting droughts in mid-summer. Alfalfa accumulates large amounts of biological nitrogen (on average 150-250 kg/ha), so it is possible not to fertilize with mineral nitrogen. Fits well in less fertile, lighter mechanical composition, drier soils. This type of grassland is suitable for grazing and mowing, it regenerates well. Good fodder value, grass is willingly eaten by animals. Long-lived, winters well. Forms a dense sod that protects the soil well from erosion.
