What is rheum officinale?
Rheum officinale is the name of traditional Chinese medicine. This product is the rhizome of Rheum palmatum, Rheum tanguticum or Rhubarb. From September to October, select the plants that have grown for more than three years, digging out the rhizome and cutting off the stem and root slice to dry. Rheum officinale’s main functions are: purging heat toxins, breaking accumulation stagnation and promoting blood stasis.
Rheum officinale can be used in the treatment of constipation caused by heat evil, and Rhubarb can also be used in the treatment of constipation caused by Yang deficiency
