A variety of early, fertile and winter-hardy winter sows
Vegetation period of winter sowings is 320-328 days
The average seed yield is 860-1410 kg/ha
Seed yield potential - 2 t/ha
Green mass yield (standard humidity) – 7.05-13.24 t/ha
Plants - medium (65-80 cm) tall, branched
The lower branches are attached at a height of 20-29 cm
Resistant to lodging
Drought resistant
Resistant to powdery mildew and alternariosis
Resistant to ringlets and cracks
Resistant to seed shedding
Ziemkentishka
The flowers are yellow
Pods - 8-11 mm long
The weight of 1000 seeds are 1.3-1.5 g
The seeds are yellow-brown
The seeds contain 38.8-43.2% oil, which is rich in beneficial unsaturated fatty acids
Erucic acid in oil - 0.90-2.99%
Glycosides in oil - 8.01 mmol/g
Amounts of fatty acids in the oil: oleic - 16.2%, linoleic - 18.1%, linolenic - 34.2%, eicosenoic - 15.7%, palmitic - 4.7%, stearin - 2.1%, etc.
Wintergreen oil can be used for food, in the cosmetics industry, as well as for the production of environmentally friendly polymers, varnishes and paints. Used as biofuel in the aviation industry. The by-product of oil production is pomace, which, depending on the way the oil is pressed, contains between 8.5 and 16.4% fat. 1 kg of pomace contains 270 g of digestible proteins. 100 kg of pomace contains 115 feed units.
Suitable for mechanized removal
Judra is not demanding on the soil. It grows well in black soil, light sandy soils. Heavy clay soils are not very suitable.
The soil for sowing must be prepared very well so that there is good contact between the soil and the seed. The depth of seeding should not exceed 3 cm, so the soil should be tilled as shallow as possible before sowing.
Under different growing conditions than those found in these studies, cultivar parameters may differ from those given here.
SOWING RATE
Recommended sowing rate: 8 million sprout seeds/ha, or 8-10 kg/ha, optimal depth - 1-2 cm
Recommended sowing rate for green fertilizer: 10-14 kg/ha
